ABOUT THE CLASSES
Although we always remain beginners, some of us have more experience than others. In order to address this issue, we offer 3 different levels:
Level I
Gentle class with low cardio-rhythm. Controlled stretching for health improvement.
Focus on relaxation and its relationship to breathing and emotions. Designed for seniors or individuals with limited movement range. It is also excellent as an introduction to yoga as a self-healing tool.
Level II
Study of the four basic principles of yoga: attention, breathing, relaxation, and postures (physical exercises). Introduction to the self-healing process: gaining emotional confidence through relaxation, endurance and strength from the physical challenge, self-knowledge and will from the practice of mind control.
Level III
Lear to hold postures for long period of time without loosing relaxation. Use of breathing for emotional and physical balance; Intentional release of tension to allow the alignment of the skeleton. Local work on specific health issues. Detoxification, deep work on organs for maintenance and regeneration. Meditation as a bridge to joy.
