“A point of balance and a key element for health, happiness and anything you want and you need is not based on your luck, your genes, and your location. Is a substance, is a need, is a main factor that is not something you can get in the outside world. This main issue is your personal effort, without your efforts nothing you think is for you can be real and the more real thing you can trust is in the emotional honesty about trying to try. I’m not talking about TO DO, I’m talking about TO BE.”

Get used to feel young

October 12, 2011

from a Student -about the Yoga Master Classes during our Day Retreat Program

“Dear Horacio:

I want to thank you in a way by letting you know what have I learned and I’m grateful for ever.

Now I see that every time I exercise is the same feeling afterwards. When exercising all your system is at work and the result is an energy that makes me feel good, similar or the same as when I was on my early 20′s.

Once again I tell myself I should do this more often, when what I have to say instead is I will do this more often. (Now I see that every time I say I should, I mostly won’t, because it feels more of an obligation, instead of fun with a positive and good outcome.)

I will work on get more use to the feelings afterwards exercise, instead of “feeding” the inertia of feeling bad due to … guess what? lack of exercise.  Now I know best that all my pains go away when I start to exercise and -as you said- “clean my house”. My experiences with exercise benefits are increased energy level, best blood circulation, best skin looking, good nights of sleep, psycho and emotional  balance, feeling of well being and happiness, and a more clear and focused mind. Thank you for bringing light to it.

As time passes I have the chance to create a new relationship with my understanding about exercise and health, and how much I affect it because I won’t do it. What I’ve been missing? The possibility to get used to feel younger starting at this very moment!

I look forward to upcoming events.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Diane W – October 2011″

Experience the Ultimate Yoga Class: Self-healing Yoga

- WE ARE ALWAYS BEGINNERS, READY TO LEARN -

A technique developed over 20 years of practice by Horacio Roa (CMT, Health Coach, DT) that it is based on Hata Yoga.

Not at all focus on position’s names, nor about putting your leg behind your neck and yet that could be a consequence of achieving a level of refined health. Self-healing Yoga is a the knowledge of Yoga adapted to our society and ways of living.

As an example of what it brings, Self-healing Yoga has the addition of balancing exercises to help balance the work of the right and left sides of the brain, balance oxygen and muscles work. Some others are designed to work on the organs, help move the blood, cleanse, and regenerate cells using oxygen through breathing, attention to relaxation.

The knowledge of the limits of our body are our closer challenge. When we cannot to do an exercise we are only exposing our urgent need of doing it… to help stretch, relax, and renew all those stuck and stiff cells that bring that thought that limits us the most: “I can’t do this!”.

Well, here you arrive to a crossroad,

  1. Either you stick to the “I can’t do” thought and search for something that will demand less efforts from you;
  2. or, you try to learn and to work with your limits in order to expand them and improve your possibilities.

If you are looking for the right reasons to take you out of the chair to get you doing exercise, these classes are a complete book about those kind of reasons.

Stretching, Breathing, Attention, and Relaxation; these are the four golden rules to Self-healing Yoga. Each of these rules brings a context of things attached in the level of health regeneration, that we could possibly make a book about each.

Self-healing yoga is part of a holistic approach to health that we have divided in 3 levels:

  1. Level of Health Recovery
  2. Level of Health Maintenance
  3. Level of Health Refinement
